The casual dress is not necessarily a fashion casual these days.
Women's fashions are so elegant nowadays, with gauze and lace that even if you buy them for daytime wear, you may find your self choosing this style from the closet for a formal evening. Casual dresses are chic enough to wear anytime.
Metallic and gauze are the current fashion, and this is reflected not only in formal wear but the casual dress as well. The circle dress - a full cut fashion with a tight bodice - is available in black and can be worn for an afternoon luncheon or later on a summer evening date. This women's fashion is also available in a cowl neck cut-a scoop neck which shows off the cleavage.
Casual dresses are coming into style with beaded sides; formally an evening wear style. Beads and sequins are making the rounds in the casual fashion circles, and the styles for spring and summer women's fashion reflect the short cuts and elegant fabric once reserved for the night time wear only. Pleated bodice dresses are in as well, but if you are a full figured woman you may want to steer clear of fashion cuts that tend to make the onlooker think you are trying to hide your tummy. A full cut circle dress is a better choice.
The beaded halter dress or dresses with lace trim are also considered casual fashion this year. The good news with these styles is that you can purchase fewer dresses with more versatility. Ruffled tube top dresses and scoop necks are what to wear today, for both casual and elegant fashion. The open tummy cut is in, too, but with beads and sequins across the opening, making these casual dresses an excellent fashion choice for anyone, large tummy or not. The scalloped hemlines are especially flattering for the full figured woman, and all designers have at least one style which reflects this.
