You would think that men's fashion in jackets hasn't changed much over the years, and to the casual observer they haven't.
At least the basic jacket blazer hasn't, it continues to be a loose cut blazer with lapels and front pockets. Only the really observant onlooker will notice small changes in men's jackets such as the width of the lapel and the tell tale current fashion give away sign-how many buttons run down the cuff. Currently the newer fashion has four. Whether tailored, expensive fabric and cut or off the rack warehouse fashion, how many buttons are on the cuff will dictate whether or not your jacket is in fashion.
There are lots of different men's jacket cuts. The men's leather jacket called the bomber is sexy and still comes in brown with fur. The motorcycle men's leather jacket is still rebellious looking and comes in basic black, although there will be an emergence of coloured leather motorcycle and bomber jackets as the fall/winter men's fashion collections hit the stores. One of the new fashion colours is red and I would discourage any man from buying it. I don't care what Paris, Milan, or New York style dictates, men do not look good in short red leather jackets, the darker, and the better for outerwear.© UK Fashion.com 2006
