The Playboy logo is the most widely recognised fashion logo in the world.

Hugh Hefner launched the first playboy back in December of 1953. There was no date on the cover and Hugh didn't put his name anywhere on it, just in case it failed. Hugh wanted a bunny because it was fun, and put him in a tuxedo as a note of sophistication, the same connotations the bunny has today.
