Versace Fashion

Known as the fashion designer to the stars, Versace made a name for himself with the styles worn by rock gods and movie stars.

He used the celebrities as models for the covers of fashion magazines and took their distinctive styles into consideration when designing clothing. The fashion designer is still one of the most looked for fashions on the red carpet when the stars come out for their awards and charity benefits. The Versace fashion line has always stood for trendy, high end clothing.

The fashion designer began bringing out collections for other fashion houses in 1972, but it wasn't until 1989 that he was able to go public with his own fashion line. He continued working and Versace became a business worth over 800 million dollars. Versace clothing, shoes, and accessories continue to make waves in the fashion world even after the famous designer's untimely death in 1997 when he was murdered outside his Miami Beach home.

Today the clothing line includes in its collection a line of designer brand name clothing for both men and women, and even an expensive children's line. Let us not forget the famous accessories as well; the Versace brand name fashion sunglasses are still one of the most sought after and highly coveted brand names on the market.

Versace's high neck zip front sweaters are still as outstanding as they ever were, and the current line reflects the colours that will be popular for the fall/winter season. Remember, though, the Versace brand name is very high end, running a small fortune for even a lightweight long sleeve t-shirt made from the most current fabrics. The line is so popular, however, that people reviewing the line won't hesitate to say that the clothing is worth the prices.
