Women's Shorts

What better way to show off your legs and keep cool during the summer weather than several new pairs of fashion shorts!

Shorts are no longer the casual cut off jeans that you wore when you were a kid. Shorts come in various lengths and styles and can be worn for every fashion from your daily run to a night out on the town, if you know which style to buy and what to wear with them. They are a summer staple in women's fashion.

If you live in an urban area, you can usually get away with wearing respectably long shorts to the office, as larger cities tend to be less conservative when it comes to fashion than small towns. When looking for shorts to wear to the office, choose shorts and matching blazer outfits, with longer shorts. (They should hit just above the knee.) The matching out fit with the blazer says that you are relaxed yet professional. Capri style short outfits are commonly recognized as casual wear in women's fashion, so steer away from this fashion for the workplace.

However, Capri's are the style of choice for the casual get together, shopping or attending summer concerts. With a cute tank top they are a good fashion choice. Wear trainers with them for a sporty look. They are still as cooling in the summer as the shorter shorts, but have a style all their own.

Short shorts are meant for the beach, and the new glitter fashion styles can be worn out on the town. Wear these with glitter thongs and a solid coloured short, or even better, solid shorts with a glitter top and metallic sandals. Never wear high heels with short shorts; you will look like a streetwalker no matter how classy you are. Cotton short shorts are the best women's fashion choice for the beach as they can be cleaned easily and are lightweight.
