Women's Thongs

There are three distinct styles of fashion for women's thongs: elegant, sexy and casual.

The women's fashion thong is a barely there panty, made from silk, lace, rayon, cotton, or even leather and rubber for the more adventurous! The thong was originally a string bikini, but it became so popular that designers started making them as a regular panty for under clothes. Today women's thong swim wear is still one of the most popular styles of swim wear on the market.

The women's thong allows for no panty lines, but the string up the backside can be uncomfortable, so be sure that you purchase the correct size. Too small and you're in for a pinch! (Anything for fashion, girls…) Women's fashion thongs are designed to help you feel sexy and beautiful wherever you are, and if you buy the correct size and shape for your body type, can be very comfortable. They are a very popular design on the market, and not as uncomfortable as they look to the uninitiated.

Elegant thongs

Elegant women's thongs are made for the night out on the town and are usually lacy and mean to be worn with women's fashion dresses. This is because the large amount of lace on the sides of the strap would be seen through the fabric of any pants. The strings ride up across the hips to hold the thong on, and are trimmed with a heavy fashion lace. The crotch is also made from lace and cotton padding.

Sexy thongs

Women's fashion wouldn't be complete without the sexy thong. Women's sexy thongs are made from lace, satin, leather, rubber, nylon, and whatever fabric is currently in fashion. The difference is that the sexy thong typically has a panel in the back where the fabric is sewn together. This tiny panel can have fake diamonds, ribbons, or a cute appliqué added. They are meant to be seen.

Casual thongs

Lastly is the casual women's thong. These thongs are worn everyday, with jeans, skirts, and any other clothing you wish. They are the everyday fashion panty – think cotton, lycra, comfortable, easily washable – and just think how many you can fit in a suitcase!
