Watches are like shoes, aren't they? We like to have a different one for each outfit, or maybe you love the same watch because it's special and wear it all of the time (no pun intended.) If you're into fashion, though, and want a collection of watches to match your clothing collections, here are some of the top brands and styles.

Seiko watches come in a variety of styles, and is one of the top brands for durability and accuracy. The SXD691 Coutura is one of the most popular. It is a streamline stainless steel and is getting good reviews from buyers. The SNA-517 comes on a leather strap and is a chronograph style, you'll never be late with this up to the minute (well, second) accuracy. The face is silver. If you're into gold-and who isn't- the SSJX46 is the current thin strapped flex strap watch in the women's category.

Fossil makes fashion watches guaranteed to mix or match any outfit. The digital waterproof sports watch is translucent purple and looks great with all beach wear. Our personal favourite is the Fiona dress watch, which looks more like a designer bracelet than a time keeper. The Champagne dial comes in gold and is very sleek, and the ES1276 is perfect for the office as it is a conservative slim strap black.

You can't go wrong with a Timex. This brand has been around for ever, and with good reason. “It takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'!” was the catch phrase for this watch in the seventies, and it continues to be the most reliable watch in its class. From sporty to elegant, this brand has too many styles to mention them all here, suffice to say that any colour and style imaginable are available, and Timex continues to be the most affordable and versatile name on the market.
